The Dressmakers Costume Exhibition

I am back in the work force two days week so stitching is taking a back seat at present!

Last Sunday I took a road trip with a girlfriend to the Dressmaker Costume Exhibition at Barwon Park Mansion in Winchelsea. What magnificent costumes and a selection of hats from the movie were on show. There were quite a lot of people present so a bit difficult to take photos. The DVD is out tomorrow, a bargain at $15 at Target and a must have. Loved the movie but think it will be more enjoyable now that I have seen the dresses. We stopped at the Winchelsea Tea Rooms and CafĂ© for lunch first - the old bluestone shire hall built in 1908. Can highly recommend the food there.

The Exhibition closes on 20th March but moves to Rippon Lea House and Gardens in Elsternwick from 22nd April for those who miss it.

  5. Thanks for showing us Annie. I just haven't been able to get down to Winchelsea. It's good to know it's coming to Rippon Lea. I've got more of a chance to get there.
